MAO – Museum of Oriental Art is one of the newest museums of Turin. Situated in the city center, is located in the historic Palazzo Mazzonis and houses one of the most interesting Asian art collections in Italy. Opened in 2008, it was visited by over ten thousand people in the first three days of opening. The Museum is intended as a mediation tool for visitors generally away from the conceptions and cultural climates in which the exhibits relate.
